Are you a BMC club member wanting to learn new skills? Come along to one of our safety training courses to learn about outdoor first aid or improvised rescue for climbers.
The BMC organises a series of training courses for BMC club members and club leaders held around England and Wales, and run by experienced and qualified instructors.
The costs of the courses cover all instruction, plus overnight accommodation for the 2-day courses where specified, and are kept low due to a subsidy from the BMC.
The programme has been designed to offer more choice and flexibility for members with a mix of 1-day and 2-day courses. There are 2-day certified Outdoor First Aid courses, and there are 1-day and 2-day Improvised Rescue skills for climbers.
More courses will be added throughout the year.
All courses run over weekends
The 2-day courses marked ** include self-catering accommodation on the Friday & Saturday nights.
All other courses do not include accommodation.

Feedback from one of the 1-day Improvised Rescue courses in the Peak District -
"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for the rescue course you ran this weekend. It was massively insightful and one of the best sjngle days' learning I've done. The weather was atrocious, but it was so much fun and I'm gutted we could only do the one day."
