New Stockport boulder

Hollywood Park boulder

Stockport, near Manchester, has a new outdoor boulder in Hollywood Park.

Hollywood Park is one of the oldest public parks in Stockport.  It is near the busy town centre and Junction 1 on the M60 - the pyramid roundabout.

The sprayed concerete boulder has been constructed by Bendcrete Climbing Walls Ltd and it appears that people have started climbing on it as it already has chalk on it!

Please help keep the Rock Court climbing wall open

Since 2006 there has been a little climbing wall in a converted squash court down in Brighton. It was managed by a childrens charity and used primarily for kids with all kind of special needs, learning difficulties, disabilities, mental health issues, behavioural issues etc. Now the childrens charity is closing due to lack of funding but local activist Christine Belk wants the wall to stay open and accessible to these great kids.
