Leeds Climbing Wall Festival - FREE CLIMBING ALL DAY!

Posted by Rob Adie on 23/09/2016

Head along to the Leeds Climbing Wall on the 2 October and have a go at rock climbing! You can try climbing the walls, abseiling, the rope ladder, knotted rope and volume challenges and help Leeds Climbing Wall celebrate their 20th Birthday.

This is a great day out for families and there's no need to have previous experience; Mum's, Dad's and kids can all take part. Their instructors will look after those who are new to climbing. The bouldering wall has had a revamp with all new circuits too. Members and guests can also climb and register for free!

As part of their special day DMM will be doing equipment demonstrations on their test rig; Climbers Against Cancer will have loads of cakes and clothing; and they are also lucky to have Holmfirth Mountain Rescue along giving information on staying safe in the hills and the important work they do.

Find a bargain in the climbing shop with their festival deals or book that next climbing course at a discounted rate.

Membership passes are also on festival prices and they will be giving out some spot prizes too! So come along for a climb with friends and family on the 2 October from 1100.
