The BMC is divided into ten local areas, eight in England and two in Wales, and each area has a meeting four or five times a year. Attending area meetings is one of the main ways to get involved in our work and they're often good fun too. More about what happens at a BMC area meeting

The BMC Local Areas site (aka the Community site) holds all the latest dates and documents for the meetings. Just select your area from the drop-down menu for meeting information, as well as local news and events, or select your area from the list below:

We publicise area meetings in the BMC monthly email newsletter via the 'BMC Local Area Meetings' banner.

About a week before each area meeting, we email all members (for whom we have an email address) within that BMC area with an invitation to attend the meeting.
If we don’t have an email address for you, or your email address has changed, or you think we might have an incorrect record of your email address, and you’d like to receive BMC email newsletters (including the monthly email newsletter and the area meeting invitation), please email office@thebmc.co.uk with a request to receive BMC newsletters and include your name and BMC membership number.
