Charity walker takes on UK Big 3 rounds

Next month, BMC member Keri Page will attempt to walk the UK BIG 3 mountain rounds all in one push, to raise money for the John Muir Trust and Water Aid.

This totals 187 miles, 113 mountain summits and 83,000ft of ascent (about three times the height of Everest!). The challenge includes the Bob Graham Round (England), the Paddy Buckley Round (Wales) and the Ramsey Round (Scotland).

Keri aims to complete the walking challenge during 16-28 May in the shortest time she can manage and raising as much sponsorship money as possible.

The BMC is running a fundraising campaign from 23-27 November 2020 to help a number of UK-based charities which involve the medium of climbing and the outdoors. Over 60,000m logged at the Climbing4all charity fundraiser

Over 100 people climbed more than 60,000m to raise £7,000+ for charity at the Climbing4all event between 17-23 March. Many teams, through various climbing challenges, joined forces and ranged from individuals to school groups, friends and climbing clubs like the Golden Geckos.
