Interested in the governance of the BMC? Don't miss this Open Forum, which provides a way of engaging with those members who wish to get into the detail of how the organisation is run.
Open Forum via zoom (7p.m. on Thursday, 25th February 2021)
The open forum is intended for those members interested in the governance of the BMC and provides a way of engaging with those members who wish to get into the detail of how the organisation is run. This session will be different from our previous one, as it will ask for feedback on changes to our governance before they are presented formally at the AGM on the 15th May 2021.
After the success of the last open forum, we are hoping many more people will want to join us for the next one on Thursday 25 February at 7pm. Speaking of the last open forum, thanks to everyone who attended, it was great to have positive input, some useful challenges and a couple of volunteers who are helping put the final touches to the articles changes that will go to the AGM for members’ approval.
This next open forum is a continuation of that engagement but this time on two procedural elements, along with an explanation on how the present National Council will evolve into the Members; Council at the AGM. Additionally, information about which roles are up for election at the AGM will be provided.
We will be asking for feedback on:
-
Presentation on Election Voting Procedure
-
Area Terms of Reference
For information:
-
National Council Restructuring
-
Positions for Election at 2021 AGM
Following the success of the Open Forum in January, this forum will also be set up as a meeting so we can utilise the break out rooms facility.
