Rockface Climbing Wall Closed

Following an approach by Advantage West Midlands, the Birmingham Climbing Centre Ltd agreed to the sale of the Rockface site, and the wall closed on 31st October.

This is part of the process that allows for the development of Birmingham’s Eastside into an exciting and viable quarter of the City. See www.rockface.co.uk for more details. Due to the closure of The Rockface an Extraordinary Meeting of The Midlands Area Committee will be held at Fairbridge on Thursday 11th November 2004, 7pm, with a focus on discussing the implications of the closure of this venue. The meeting is open to all, whether members or non members of The BMC.
