New format National Climbing Championships

The British Bouldering Championships (BBC) and the British Indoor Climbing Championships (BICC) are being super-sized for 2007. Instead of the usual three-event series held during the winter months, the BMC is planning to hold a single BBC and a single BICC event in the summer.

Both events will be bigger and the intention is to take them to a wider audience.  Venues have still to be confirmed, but a prime contender for the BICC are the new outdoor towers in Blackpool.  Don’t’ forget to pack your bucket and spade!
