Qualification rounds took place on Saturday in Eindhoven, with the top ten in each group going through to the semi finals.
In the morning it was the women's groups. Shauna Coxsey showed her steel by qualifying for the semi finals top of her group. For the second weekend in a row, Gill Peet narrowly missed qualifying by coming 11th in her group.
The afternoon was the men's qualifiers. Once again Dave Barrans pulled it out of the bag and made the cut - qualifying in 7th place in his group.
Sunday morning started with the semi finals; with the top six, from each semi final, going through to the finals.
Unfortunately, Dave Barrans finished 15th and so failed to make the cut, as did Shauna Coxsey who actually finished 7th (not 6th as some people initially thought), and so missed getting into the final by the smallest of margins. Shauna took more attempts to gain her 3 tops than the other women who made the final - apart from Mina Markovic who topped 4 blocs.
