British Mountaineering Council tribute to Her Majesty

Posted by Paul Davies on 09/09/2022

In a joint statement, the Chief Executive, President and Chair of The British Mountaineering Council, paid tribute to Her Majesty The Queen:

“We would like to extend our condolences to all members of the Royal family and all those affected by the death of Her Majesty the Queen. She was a great champion of various conservation projects and was often photographed walking in the hills, embracing the beauty of the outdoors. Her loss will be felt by many across the climbing, hillwalking and mountaineering community.”
