As part of the 2023 UIAA Global Youth Summit, the French Alpine Club are running a youth meet this summer in France.
Based in Ariège in the south of France, the meet will run from 8 - 13 July. The main aim of is to practice single and multi-pitch rock climbing on a variety of granite and limestone cliffs. There will also be the possibility to go caving and canyoning.
If you're a BMC member aged between 16 and 25 years old, can climb a minimum of French 5b and would like to attend the French meet then download the application form to find out more . Participants younger than 18 year old must be accompanied by an adult, who is able to look after them during this meet.
Other UIAA youth meets are being run this year across the globe.
