Yes.  The Andy Fanshawe Memorial Trust offers funding for disadvantaged young people who wish to participate in expeditions or on courses aimed at personal development rather than professional qualifications.
The BMC is able to carry out enhanced disclosure (DBS) checks on behalf of BMC members, BMC Associate Members, BMC Volunteers and BMC paid staff who have direct involvement with under 18's and vulnerable adults. Please contact the BMC Safeguarding team (Safeguarding@thebmc.co.uk) for further details.
