As the summer holidays get under way, the National Trust is challenging you and your family to release your inner ‘wild’ side and tick‐off 25 of their '50 things to do before you’re 11¾' over the next six weeks of summer (22 July to 1 September).

There are plenty of opportunities for wild times this summer, with thousands of events taking place from rock climbing and flying kites to catching a crabs and hunting for bugs.

Simply sign up for free at www.nationaltrust.org.uk/50things at the start of the holidays and download the brand new ‘wild‐time challenge pack’, which includes a six week adventure planner, activity sheet and plenty of top tips to help boost kids’ outdoor experiences this summer.

Plus, if families log each adventure they complete online, not only will they collect exciting rewards along the way, but if you tick off 25, you will also receive a free National Trust family visit pass and be in with a chance to win the top prize of directing and starring in your very own nature film.

So what are you waiting for?  Visit www.nationaltrust.org.uk/50things and get started today!

Watch this short video for a taste of what's involved in the challenge.
