We have all the statements from each of the candidates standing in the various elections at the BMC 2021 AGM.
The candidates interviews are linked either to videos about themselves or an audio only interview. The role descriptions are also provided together with the candidates’ proposers and seconders.
As there is only one candidate standing for each of: President, Nationally Elected Councillor – rock climbing and Nationally Elected Councillor – mountaineering, they will be appointed if a majority of members vote for them.
For the Nominated Director role the candidate with the most votes will be appointed, when you are casting your vote please only choose one candidate to vote for.
The successful candidate for the Nationally Elected Councillor – hill walking role will be decided by use of a Single Transferable Vote system, so you will have to rank the candidates in order of preference, with 1 being your first preference, 2 your second and 3 your third.
