British Tasermiut Fjord Expedition success!

The British Tasermiut Fjord Expedition team is now back from an extremely successful expedition to the Southern tip of Greenland where they climbed several new routes.

You can read a summary report on the expedition website and an article on UKClimbing.com. 

As with all expeditions which receive funding through the BMC, the team will submit a full expedition report which will subsequently be added to our inspiring online expedition report resource.

There are more BMC supported expeditions still to go in 2008, including:

  • British Hispar Sar Expedition 2008, Rufus Duits (8 September to 13 October)
  • Khumbu Alpine Style, leader Nick Bullock (1 October to 7 November)
  • British Phari Lapcha (Machermo) 2008 - leader James Thacker (1 to 30 November)
