The Equity steering group is the committee which guides the BMC on matters regarding equity. They are currently upgrading the BMC's equality standard for sport which involves taking a good look at where the BMC is at in terms of its inclusive policies and activities and seeing if some things could be done better, differently or if we are totally missing a trick.

The survey is completely anonymous and the results will be used for developing activities and policies which are inclusive for the current BMC membership. An example of this could be if its found that a proportion of the membership have specific disabilities we could then look at developing activities, training or publications around this.
