Awesome Walls Sheffield would like to invite everyone to their first anniversary birthday party on Saturday 11 October 2014.

What will be just a week after hosting the British Lead Climbing Championships, the British Speed Climbing Championships and the IFSC Paraclimbing Cup, Awesome Walls Sheffield is set to be packed again for its first birthday party (11 October).

Whether you're a seasoned member or a virgin to Awesome Walls you'll be warmly welcomed to party.

• Free climbing all day for everyone (10am - 8pm)
• Awesome raffle, with excellent prizes from sponsors (all funds to MacMillian)
• Fun speed climbing competition
• Lost property auction for charity by MacMillan Cancer
• Free yoga sessions will be running throughout the day by Kerri, the wall's experienced Yoga teacher
• VinylBear will be onsite printing limited edition t-shirts at reasonable prices!
• Free sports massages available by No.1 running shop Accelerate
• Renowned for flapjacks, can you beat Zoe in a 'bake-off'?
• Thornbridge Brewery will be providing free beer from their fine selection!
• Sheffield’s own Claire Carter will be speaking from 6pm about Siegfried Herford a trad climber in the 1900s
• Great music will be played to keep the place rocking all day and night
• After the climbing the party will continue with food, fun and games into the night
