2022 began with the launch of the All Nation Series in conjunction with Mountaineering Ireland and Mountaineering Scotland
The Series launched with the All Nation Bouldering Series, England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales.
Fantastic competitor numbers were seen throughout the Series and the Final results for the Bouldering Series are now available.
We apologise for the error at our end with respect to the incorrect results that were published and any confusion or upset this may have caused.
Under the Rules, specifically article 10.5, page 36, Participation in all four rounds will result in an overall Series Rank. The results have been corrected to represent this.
We hope you can appreciate that this is the first time we have delivered an all-nation series and is new territory for the national mountaineering councils involved, including staff, Jury Presidents, CCO’s, volunteers and host walls. Over time we aim to develop and improve these events, taking on board feedback we receive to make these events accessible and enjoyable for all involved. During these times of development, we kindly ask for the patience, understanding and support from the climbing community to help us achieve this.
We apologise for not having a Podium at the Irish Bouldering Championships, but we will hold a Podium at the English Lead Championships. If you are not able to attend the English Lead, please let us know and we can post your trophy to you, just email zoe@thebmc.co.uk
The All Nation Lead Series begins in Scotland on 4 June, followed by the English on 30 &31 July and ending with the Welsh on 3 & 4 September.
Upon conclusion of the Lead Series in Wales, we will be requesting feedback to help improve the series for 2023.
