If you're looking for something to kick start your climbing once school has restarted how about a bouldering competition? The Beacon Climbing, Ceunant, Caernarfon, Gwynedd, LL55 4SA, is holding one on 27th September.
On Saturday the 27th of September, the Beacon Climbing centre in North Wales is once again putting on its “Back to School” bouldering competition for youngsters aged 6 to 17. Organised by the North Wales BMC area youth coordinator; Mark Dicken. This is a fun competition run along the same lines as the bouldering element of the BMC youth climbing series.
There will be 4 age categories, split by year of birth, each attempting 5 boulder problems. The competition costs £6 to enter and competitors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Registration starts at 9:30 and the competition should be completed by mid afternoon.
