To celebrate the launch of the 6th annual Women in Adventure Film Competition we're putting on a night of films, talks and workshops!
Alongside Womenclimb , we have teamed up with the Women's Trad Festival to officiate the launch of the 2020 competition - it's set to be the biggest and best yet!
Held in the Outside Shop Cafe in Hathersage , the evening will be jam-packed with two Women in Adventure Film compilations: Peak Adventure and Adventure Top Picks.
The evening will also include talks from BMC President Lynn Robinson, Women's Trad Festival Organiser Gilly McArthur will also be there to talk about her new icy wild swimming film Floe State, and there will be a workshop run by Womenclimb CEO and competition judge Emily Pitts.
Walk among inspiring female climbers and mountaineers as the exclusive British Women Climb Exhibition will be out for your perusal. In the interval there will also be an amazing auction where you can get your hands on some bargains: from down jackets to ropes with all proceeds going to the Women's Trad Festival. Plus there will be freebies and refreshments throughout the evening.
So if you're an adventure film fanatic, around in the Peak for WTF or happen to be climbing in the area come join us for our launch evening! See you there!
