This university term we've been riding the student vibe with our 'student season'. We've posted lots of student-friendly content to help students get the most out of climbing and walking as well as getting the banter going on social media.
During student season we covered a wide range of topics including how to climb on a student budget, top trips for university clubs, walking the world in your GAP year, and lots more, with great jobs in the great outdoors and a month in the life of a uni club still to come.
Despite being bleary-eyed from all that freshers' week partying, we were eager to get stuck in and have kept to our deadlines for every week of term....well nearly!
It's been a busy term. In October the BMC ran its annual Student Safety and Good Practice Seminar at Plas y Brenin in North Wales. Around 100 students from 50 clubs gathered together with 30 volunteer experts to gain valuable knowledge to help university clubs improve their practices.
We also launched a survey to find out more about what 14 – 25 year olds want from BMC membership. The survey runs until the end of 2013 and everyone who completes the survey will be in with a chance to win £100 worth of Cotswold Outdoor vouchers.
