Rope Race junior bouldering comp results

On Saturday 24th November Rope Race climbing wall in Marple Stockport hosted a junior bouldering competition. The competition was between Rope Race Stockport, ClimbUK Rochdale & Stockport Grammar School.

The competition was a great success and all the staff at Rope Race would like to say huge big well done to all the competitors who climbed excellently and made the whole day brilliant fun!

There were 3 groups; 7 - 9 year olds, 10 - 12 year olds and 13 - 15 year olds.

The results were as follows

7 - 9 year olds
1st place - Elissa Bryant (Rope Race) with 472 points
2nd Place - Lucy Brown (Rochdale) with 464 points
3rd place - Fraser Wadsworth (Rope Race) with 429 points
4th place - William Kay (Stockport Grammar) with 417 points
5th place - Ashleigh Brown (Rochdale) with 369 points

10 - 12 girls
1st Place - Olivia Ratcliffe (Rochdale) with 360 points
2nd place - Jennifer Wood (Rope Race) with 360 points
3rd place - Ellie Cadwallader (Rochdale) with 360 points
4th place - Shelley Pickles (Rope Race) with 357 points
5th place - Ellen Downs (Rope Race) with 333 points
6th place - Courtney McGreavy (Rochdale) with 330 points
7th place - Cornelia McNeff (Rope Race) with 311 points

10 - 12 year old boys 
1st place - Randy Roby (Rochdale) with 360 points
2nd place - Jacob Murray (Rope Race) with 360 points
3rd Place - Chris Moore (Rope Race) with 345 points
4th place - Luke Nield (Rope Race) with 343 points
5th Place - Jake Fairbrother (Rope Race) with 296 points
6th place - Howard Keyworth (Rope Race)

13 - 15 year old girls
1st place - Charlotte Garden (Stockport grammar) with 459 points
2nd place - Catherine Burgess (Rope Race) with 428 points
3rd place - Charlotte Kay (Stockport Grammar) with 401 points
4th place - Amy O'Connor (Rope Race) with 398 points
5th place - Beth Stratford - Fosbrooke (Rope Race) with 372 points

13 - 15 year olds boys
1st place - Robin Lloyd (Rochdale) with 466 points
2nd place - Bradley Hargreaves (Rochdale) with 462 points
3rd place - Adam Moore (Rope Race) with 435 points
4th place - Liam Woolleson (Rope Race) with 426 points
5th place - James Checkley (Stockport Grammar) with 397 points

Next competition is Sunday 20th January 2008
