Help contribute to the present and future of mountaineering, climbing and walking by working with Mountaineering England, who is currently recruiting for two new independent directors to join its Board.
Fancy having a key role in the management of Mountain Training England (MTE)? It is looking for people with skills in marketing, fund raising, finance and business strategy. Sport England’s new Code of Governance sets the bar for diversity at 30% male/female split; therefore MTE are especially interested to receive applications from suitably experienced women.
MTE is seeking to appoint two new independent non-executive directors and is interested to receive applications from people with expertise in the following areas:
Marketing and fundraising
Finance/ business strategy
These posts are non-salaried.
What’s in it for Me?
Barry Lynn, MTE treasurer, says: “It is the opportunity to make a serious and profound contribution to the present and future of the sports of mountaineering, climbing and walking. These sports are all founded in camaraderie and inclusiveness – this is your chance to make a major difference at the highest level.”
The closing date for applications is 5:00pm on Friday 27 January 2017.
