Mountaineering is one of the activities on the rise in schools, according to latest research which suggests a decline in traditional team games.
A study commissioned by the former Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) looked at participation in PE and sport in all schools across England in 2009/10.
The study suggests that activities such as cheerleading, yoga and boxing were on the rise in PE lessons as schools offer pupils alternatives to traditional sports.
The popularity of mountaineering is also increasing, with 14% of schools offering it this year. That's double the number of six years ago.
