Icicle at Windermere joins BMC discount scheme

Posted by Suzanne Jones on 11/03/2013
Icicle, Windermere

Icicle has been offering guided trips to climb, trek and ski the world's mountains since 2000, and has now opened a technical retail store in Windermere, the heart of the Lake District, to stock a select range of equipment that has been carefully selected by Icicles own IFMGA and UIMLA guide team.

BMC Members can save 10% on all items excluding maps and guidebooks when shopping at Icicle's new Windermere store.

Kingsley Jones, Icicles Courses & Expedition Advisor said: "All our stock is highly recommended for our trips, and has been selected by our guiding team, and you'll see them using it on our trips. Our range is small and personalised to suit our trips. It's this attention to the smallest detail, and level of authenticity that marks us out from other stores. We test and use all the products that we sell, and certainly don't buy in big bulk to sell poorly performing kit at discounted prices. We look forward to welcoming you in our store."

Visit the Icicle store at 11a Church Street, Windermere, LA23 1AQ. To receive your 10% discount on all items (apart from maps and guidebooks) just show your BMC membership card.

You can also make telephone orders by calling 01539 44 22 17, or shop online.

Please note that inclusion in the discount scheme does not constitute or imply BMC endorsement of products/services provided.

Icicle are also a BMC Associate Member.
