Holy Hill Walk, Batman!

Posted by on 21/06/2005

Don’t be alarmed if you spot a couple of caped crusaders carrying a rowing machine up Snowdon, Scafell Pike or Ben Nevis in late July.

You won’t be hallucinating, you’ll just be witnessing an unusual fundraising effort by James Macdonald and Matt Lambert. In order to raise money to complete the building of a school in the Kenyan capital, Nairobi, James and Matt will be carrying the rowing machine to the highest points of Wales, England and Scotland. If that’s not enough, when they reach a summit, they’ll row the equivalent distance of the height of the peak. All the while dressed as superheroes. If you want to find out more about their fundraising activities visit the Passing it On website.
