Hill Walking website launched

Posted by Cath Flitcroft on 01/03/2011

Yesterday saw the launch of UKHillwalking.com, a website dedicated to all things hill walking.

As well as a strong editorial, UKHillwalking.com features a hill walking forum where walkers can discuss specific routes, Munros, navigation, hill walking news, gear and so on.

The UKHillwalking Logbook system is where hill walkers can record and map their walks with the aid of simple mapping interface and a useful list of 3,000 UK hills. It also features Map My Route, Log My Summits and an Activity Diary.

Dan Bailey and Sarah Stirling are the Editors of the site, working full-time on hill walking news, features, hill skills and all things gear.

Given the success of its sister website, UKClimbing.com, the BMC is sure this will be an extremely useful and informative website!
