Help save Holmfirth Cliff

Posted by Martin Kocsis on 08/04/2010
Tea break, Holmfirth Crag clean-up.

Turn up to the public meeting, on Tuesday 20th April, to help save Holmfirth crag from developers.

Anyone interested in this ace Yorkshire crag is urged to turn up. It's possible that the council see the site as prime development land and therefore something they can make a load of shortlived cash out of.

It is down to you lot (and all your mates) to impress upon them the long term benefit to the community of 'the Cliff'.

Turn up on Tuesday 20th April, 7.30, Wooldale Community Centre, Robert Lane, Wooldale - and bring as many people as you can. Climbers need to be there in force - but not "mob handed"! Martin Kocsis from the BMC is going - as is local BMC Access Rep Rick Gibbon.

Full details of the meeting are here
