The IFSC European Youth Championships are taking place at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena this weekend with a strong GB Junior team present to take on the best climbers in Europe.
The members of the GB junior climbing team have their work cut out this weekend as over 250 of Europe's best climbers descend on Edinburgh to compete for the title of European Champion in both the lead and speed disciplines.
The lead climbers will compete over three rounds, including a semi-final for the first time in a European Junior event - 2 qualifying routes and semi-final on Saturday and the finals will take place on Sunday morning.
The speed qualifications take place on Friday evening and the final on Sunday afternoon, making it an action packed weekend. There will be a basic webcast being shown, giving an overview of what is going on, but without specific routes being filmed and commentary and results.
