Member and Stakeholder Consultation on the GB Climbing Proposal

Posted by Team BMC on 17/05/2024

Following the publication of the GB Climbing proposal the British Mountaineering Council (BMC) would like to consult with members and stakeholders on the proposals.

In April, the BMC published the GB Climbing proposal, the purpose which is to set out proposed changes to GB Climbing in preparation for the LA 2028 Olympic cycle.

The proposed model aims to establish a Performance Department with clear accountability whilst ensuring support for grassroots development and competitions. The document suggests aligning with successful practices in other National Governing Bodies.

In order for members and stakeholders to feedback we have set up a short survey which will remain open until the 01 July 2024.

After this date, the feedback will be collated and fed back to the BMC Board of Directors at their meeting on the 01 August 2024.

Please ensure that you have read the above documents before completing the consultation survey

Thank you for your input into this consultation - the survey is now closed.
