A report from the 2015 BMC Clubs Seminar, with links to presentations from the event.
Saturday 25 April saw the 2015 Clubs Seminar held at Plas y Brenin in Snowdonia. For the first time the event was held alongside the BMC AGM, and it proved a popular combination allowing people to attend both events on the same day. Poor weather even saw extra people choosing to join the Seminar rather than don their waterproofs and head out in to the rain!
With the AGM completed in the morning the Seminar commenced after lunch with a programme including recruiting, retaining and support members; funding advice; club governance; crisis management; website development tool. Delegates were invited to stay at Plas y Brenin and enjoy the celebratory buffet provided in the evening and the presentation of the George Band Award to Bob Pettigrew. The charity auction which took place later that evening raised £1000 for the Nepal Earthquake Appeal.
