The second round of the 2015 BMC/MCofS Junior Boulder Cup will take place on the 6 June at The Climbing Academy Glasgow - this event will be run by the Mountaineering Council of Scotland.
The BMC/MCofS British Junior Bouldering Championships is open to young climbers born between 1 January 1996 and 31 December 2003 and who are eligible to compete for Great Britain (ie hold a GB passport). Others may be invited at the discretion of the BMC.
Team managers from the junior bouldering team will be looking at performances in this event as it will be used as part of the continuing monitoring process for the Great Britain Junior Bouldeirng Team. Consequently, these results will be considered - and will count - when selection for next year's GB team is made.

Registration/warm up opens: 0800 - full timetable will be posted shortly.
There will be 8 problems to compete in the qualifiers and 3 problems in the final.

Categories
Competitors will compete in the international competition climbing categories for 2015, according to the year they were born in. These are as follows:
Youth C - born in 2002 or 2003
Youth B - born in 2000 or 20001
Youth A - born in 1998 or 1999
Juniors - born in 1996 or 1997
Event vests will not be provided
The British Junior Climbing Team is supported by the BMC & Climbing Wall Services. Many UK walls also support the British Climbing Team through free or subsidised entry.
Entry to boulder event with BMC, MCofS and MCI membership is £15 and non-members £20.
The deadline for entries is 12pm Thursday 4 June.
• Please complete and submit online entry form by Thursday 4 June 2015.
• Only online applications will be accepted. On the day entries will not be accepted.
• Parental consent must be given for any competitor aged 12 to 17 years on the day of the event.
• All applicants will receive an email confirming receipt of their application. They will then receive a further e-mail containing full event information two days before the event direct from the MCofS. Please note that emails do not always reach their destination, it is therefore your responsibility to contact the MCofS if email notification has not been received by Friday 5 June.
