The Hard Rock range
To commemorate and celebrate the legacy of Ken Wilson, one of the most influential voices in British climbing, BMC TV teamed up with Hot Aches Productions to produce a film about his uber-classic Hard Rock book. Many books have been written about British climbing, but this one stands head-and-shoulders above the rest.
Inspired by our new BMC TV film, illustrator Liam Dangerfield created a unique Hard Rock logo to honour Ken Wilson’s book as it’s now become: a tick-list of classic climbs for the aspiring climber. Doesn’t matter if you’ve ticked them or not, pay tribute to Ken Wilson and his lists of classic rock climbs with the new Hard Rock range, available on organic hoodies and t-shirts.
Be one of the first to buy them from the BMC Shop.
The Hard Rock tick tee for all fans of classic lines.
Want to watch Hard Rock?
Hard Rock premiered at Kendal Mountain Festival 2016 to a welcoming audience. We showed the film twice in the Basecamp and once during BMC TV’s excitingly off-the-wall event Breakfast Club. The crowds laughed and gasped in all the right places and cheered and clapped when the credits rolled; we count that as winning!
If you missed it at Kendal, don't worry, we've got a special Xmas pressie for you. Every BMC member will be emailed an exclusive invite to watch it online over Christmas.
Funky new women's clothing range
Like gear? You’ll love being able to sport our unique Camdala design. Or perhaps knot? Then the Flow design based on the trusty figure-of-eight is for you! Both illustrated by the extremely talented Tessa Lyons who found inspiration in BMC TV's new film: The Bothy Project.
This film takes four female artists and dispatches them to a remote Scottish bothy in the highlands of Scotland to untangle their need for outdoor space. Brought to you by the team that conjured up the award-winning BMC TV film Operation Moffat, this enchanting story takes you to explore the wilderness with filmmaker Jen Randall, wild-swimming-video-artist Natasha Brooks, acclaimed Sheffield artist Tessa Lyons, and poet Claire Carter.
