BMC National Council: February 2013 meeting

The 34th meeting of the BMC National Council took place on Saturday 9 February at the West Reservoir Centre in London. A summary of the meeting is available to download.

The meeting covered a range of topics including:

  • reports of local BMC Area issues, meetings and events;
  • BMC membership and finance;
  • proposed changes to the BMC Memorandum & Articles of Association;
  • the re-structuring of the BMC Access, Conservation & Environment Group;
  • Sport England funding for 2013-17;
  • financial support for access and landscape work in Scotland; and
  • a revised Drilled Equipment position statement.
