BMC Alps Meet Underway

Over 35 BMC members are now in Arolla for the first week of the annual BMC Alps Meet.

Our volunteer Rachael Hinchliffe drove down at the end of last week with the BMC marquee, table and chairs. She arrived in rain but it soon brightened up!

This week sees 25 people taking part in the walking and mountaineering courses on offer, as well as others out to explore the Valais with their own climbing and walking partners.

On Friday there will be a BBQ and then more members arriving for the meet's second week.

The meet is sponsored by ROOM with a VIEW camper hire and Sea France.
