Jasmin Paris breaks all the records of the Montane Spine Race

Just 10 days ago, Jasmin Paris became the first woman to win the Spine Race, and also smashed the winter record for the route by around 12 hours. This non-stop, unsupported trail ultramarathon is one of the world's toughest. Even more impressively, Jasmin was having to express milk at checkpoints. Nicky Spinks becomes the first person to run a double Ramsay Round

“After that I relaxed and enjoyed the last 10 hours even though my feet were full of blisters.” At 7.56am on Monday 2 July, Nicky Spinks became the first person to tick off a double Ramsey Round. That's right, she ran the classic British fell running challenge, which takes in 58 miles and 24 peaks including Ben Nevis, twice. It took her 55:56:38. Sarah Stirling interviews.

Jasmin Paris broke the female record for the Paddy Buckley round last weekend, meaning she has smashed the female records for all three of the classic British fell running challenges within six months. On top of that, she also holds the overall record for the Ramsay Round and the overall record time for all three rounds combined.
