Andy Earl wins bouldering world cup event

Britain's Andy Earl was a clear winner in the 4th round of the bouldering world cup held this Saturday at La Reunion - a French island off the coast of Madagascar - in the Indian Ocean.

25 men and 10 women took part in the competition.  This is Andy's first world cup victory. He beat a very strong field to take top spot - including team mates Gareth Parry (7th) who just missed out on a place in the final and Mark Croxall (17th) himself a previous world cup winner at Birmingham in 2005.
