All Wales youth champions

Posted by Tina Gardner on 30/04/2007

The All Wales Final of the BMC Youth Climbing Series took place on Saturday to decide the Welsh champions. The top three climbers from each category will now go on to compete against young climbers (aged 7-15) from the English and Scottish series in the National Final.

The Welsh final brought together qualifiers from the 2 heats held in North Wales and South Wales.

The National Final will be held at the Edinburgh International Climbing Arena in Ratho on 30 June.

Congratulations to the winners and all competitors.  The BMC would like to say a great big thank you to all those who helped make this series such a great success including parents and all the volunteers who selflessly give their time - such as the belayers, judges, scorers and of course, all the Area Youth Coordinators!
