Amazing offer. Prices slashed for Saturday's expedition planning seminar at Plas y Brenin. This could be just the opportunity you need to take a trip to beautiful North Wales, going to the fantastic value seminar on the Saturday and then perhaps getting out on the hill, walking or climbing on Sunday.

Get ready to be inspired and informed at the 2015 BMC Expedition planning seminar: We've pulled together a great line-up of speakers, including double Piolet-D'Or winner and BMC Patron Mick Fowler & BMC Ambassador Calum Muskett, who between them have bags of experience and more than a few stories to tell!

Mick, an icon in the outdoor world, will be sharing his many experiences in the greater ranges.  He joins a great line-up of speakers including all-round high performer and BMC Ambassador Calum Muskett.

Is it for me?

If you're thinking about trying bigger mountains or going to greater, perhaps remoter, ranges and places, or if you want to know more about the practicalities of planning and taking part in trips and expeditions then this seminar is for you; that's whether it's your first time or you're simply looking to expand your knowledge.

It's also for people looking for a bit of inspiration, perhaps wanting to make the first ascent of an unclimbed peak, and for anyone who wants to hear some great mountaineering stories and mingle with leading mountaineers.

You could also use the seminar as an opportunity to spend a weekend in beautiful North Wales, perhaps getting out on the hill, walking or climbing on the Sunday.

Whats happening?

The day-long seminar on Saturday 17 January 2015, at Plas y Brenin in North Wales, will be in two parts, starting at 10am and running through to 9pm with a light lunch at miday and teas and coffees provided.  Plas y Brenin also has a lively bar for mingling and meeting people.

Although the day is for those wanting to know more about expeditions to the Greater Ranges it will also raise money for BMC expedition grants. The day will also showcase what younger mountaineers are doing in these exciting times; as well as highlighting what the BMC does to support those wanting to go on small independent expeditions.
