This article fails to mention the fantastically successful International Women's Climbing Meet which took place in May 1998 organised in North Wales by Celia Bull, Glenda Huxter and many others. There was an impressive turnout from all over the world - climbers from Iran, France, Sweden, the US, Slovenia, Nepal and others. Many climbing federations sent a delegation and it was a wonderful week for the hosts and the visitors alike, many friendships forged.
