A state funeral is being held in New Zealand on Tuesday (22 January) for Sir Edmund Hillary who died earlier this month.
The state funeral will be broadcast across New Zealand and shown on a giant screen in an Auckland park. Hundreds of New Zealanders have been paying their respects to Sir Edmund Hillary who New Zealand's Prime Minister Helen Clark has described as "New Zealand's greatest hero".
Plans are in progress to honour Sir Edmund Hillary at a memorial service in the UK in April. The service will take place at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle on a date to be confirmed.
You can watch a two minuite video of the state funeral on the Guardian website.
