The Tremadog Revival Project continued at the weekend with the installation of a new ladder in Belshazzar Gully on Craig Bwlch y Moch.
The old ladder was on its last legs, having lost some of its rungs, and the new ladder will make descent of a short steep section of the gully more secure. The new ladder was generously provided by the Snowdonia National Park Authority.
The volunteer project has undertaken a series of clean-ups at Bwlch y Moch in recent months, improving access and restoring neglected routes. The project is co-ordinated by the BMC-supported North Wales Climbers Action Group. Thanks to all who have donated their time and energy to the project.
If you’d like to get involved in volunteer activity in North Wales the next BMC Cymru / Wales area meeting takes place tomorrow (Tuesday 6 February) in Nant Peris. On the agenda for discussion will be abseiling at Tremadog
