Peak District National Park landholding – where next?

Following on from the well-publicised story on the RSPB potentially taking on management of the Eastern Moors estate, the Peak District National Park Authority is seeking expressions of interest across all of its estate.

This ranges from the major moorland sweeps of the Roaches Estate, North Lees (Stanage) and the Eastern Moors (Froggatt / Curbar) to smaller properties including the Whillans Hut. BMC members will have an interest in many of these properties and our Peak District access team is working on bringing these to the Authority’s attention.
