Don't forget to vote at this year's AGM. Set to take place virtually on Saturday 15 May at 9am, you can have your say on the running of the BMC from the comfort of your own home. Plus join us for exclusive video content and a pre-AGM screening of 'A Dream of Edwin Drummond'. Register to vote at the BMC 2021 AGM before 5pm Wednesday 12th May.
As well as the voting on the resolutions and elections proposed, this year's order of events features a free exclusive pre-AGM screening of '
A Dream of Edwin Drummond' – a film by Paul Diffley - beginning at 8am via the AGM Zoom link. Plus we have a set of short films interspersed through the AGM, shining a light on the work of staff, members and volunteers for the BMC.

All BMC Members have received an email from Civica (check your junk mail if you haven't seen yours yet), which provides the details you need to access the voting website. If you want to attend the AGM, even if you do not want to vote on the day, you must:
-
on the voting website click one of the options to state you will attend – as this then provides you with the link to register with Eventbrite - and ensure you submit this choice on the Civica voting website; and
-
register with Eventbrite using the link provided on the Civica voting portal.
If you do not register with Eventbrite then you will not be able to attend the AGM as you will not have a ticket or the dial in details.
Please note that if you want to attend the AGM, or appoint a proxy, you must log on to the Civica website by 5pm Wednesday 12 May and make your choice. Our articles state that proxy voting closes two Business Days prior to the AGM so this deadline cannot be altered in relation to appointing a proxy. Please remember whoever you appoint a proxy must attend the AGM, or your vote will not count.
Due to the AGM being for our members, the only way to access the link to register for the AGM is via the Civica website and so the deadline to do this is tied in to the proxy deadline. You can choose to appoint a proxy and attend the AGM, which means if something happens and you’re then unable to attend the AGM, you have still voted via proxy.
If you have any problems please email our Company Secretary – lucy@thebmc.co.uk.
