Know the score at Eagle Tor

Posted by Guy Keating on 15/12/2006

It has recently been brought to the BMC's attention the owner's of this excellent Peak grit-bouldering crag no longer wish climbers to visit the rocks.

Their concerns centre around the fact her small children often play in the crag area, which is effectively their back garden.

The BMC hope to meet with the landowner soon to discuss their concerns and hope to reach a mutually amicable arrangement.

If you visit the crag and are approached by the owner's - please remain courteous and report the incident to the BMC.

This crag is not the Eagle Tor where The Mires road meets the B5056 road - opposite Carrs Wood at GR SK 231 627.
