The Staffordshire Wildlife Trust (SWT) will be at the Roaches on Sat 14th January to discuss the future of the estate with climbers and walkers.
The SWT have recently been selected by the Peak District National Park Authority to manage the Roaches estate with a 125 year lease starting in 2013. They recognise what an important place the estate is for climbers and walkers, and want to talk to users on-site about what we enjoy about it and what could be improved.
On 14th Jan 2011 between 10am and 2pm, the SWT will be at the Don Whillans Memorial Hut (located just below the Lower Tier) and would welcome the opportunity to have an informal chat to anyone passing by. Feel free to ask questions, make suggestions or just find out a bit more about what the Trust is and what it does.
Everyone is welcome and free refreshments will be provided.
