Should the BMC urge the government to keep British Summer Time (BST) all year round?
Maintaining daylight saving time would mean longer evenings to go climbing and walking as well as potentially saving energy and, according to recent research, save 450,000 tonnes of carbon a year.
However, this would mean darker mornings throughout much of the winter, particularly for those living further north.
The CCPR is currently running a Lighter Later Campaign. Should the BMC get on board?
