Lucy Creamer and Dr Jonathan Foyle

Top climber Lucy Creamer aids architectural historian Dr Jonathan Folye to scale Britain's most iconic structures in a new BBC TV series starting tonight.

The series will tell the story of how our architecture and construction has developed over 1000 years and reveals some of the secrets of the buildings that only climbers can reach!

The series starts on Monday 6 September on BBC2 at 6.30pm and continues every weekday night for three weeks. The first episode in the series of 15 begins with Durham Cathedral, one of the finest surviving examples of Norman architecture in the UK.

For more details see the BBC website.

Read more about the filming in Lucy Creamer's blog and in a DMM article.
