Cheddar Gorge Closure

The B3135 road through the Gorge will be closed for vital rock safety work from Nov. 2nd - 30th, 2006 inclusive.

The closure will formally apply from Cox's Mill Hotel to Black Rock Gate - both of which have parking and sufficient space for cars to turn around.

The closure means there will be no public access through the Gorge during this period and climbing will not be available on weekdays. However, the BMC have been told climbing will be permitted at the weekends.
