Bolting guide for installers

Posted by Dan Middleton on 19/06/2008

Back in 2007, the BMC published its first technical guidance for those intending to place bolts for climbing. This guidance has now been updated and revamped to cover current good practice, and has been written to be clearer and more user friendly. It should be useful and informative both to those wishing to learn how to equip sport routes, and to those already active in doing so.

This forms a companion to the guide for climbers using bolts when sport climbing, and is intended as a source of information for those equipping new sport routes, and re-equipping existing ones.

COMING SOON!

Watch this space for the updated installer's guide.
